FAQ
Question: Does one feel anything in the air when touching the image?

Answer: The image feels just like air and there is no noticeable difference.

Question: How high above the Heliodisplay do the images hover?

Answer: O Images can hover up to about 28-inches or about seventy centimeters away from the Heliodisplay although the display has been designed to project the clearest and most stable image within the 30" diagonal viewing region.

Question: How bright is the image?

Answer: Images are visible under typical indoor lighting. Images are about as bright as the first-generation rear projection TV's. Similar to any display on the market, the darker the ambience, the brighter the image is perceived. As with any conventional projector, images become less visible under bright lighting. Heliodisplay images work best under controlled lighting such as in museums, corporate and movie theater lobbies, and most office spaces. We do not recommend the Heliodisplay for outdoor use although IO2 does build outdoor systems for enterprise solutions.

Question: What kind of the image definition and fidelity can I expect?

Answer: Heliodisplay images are unique and appear different that existing displays. Colors render in full color, and text is legible, although image definition and fidelity are not comparable to conventional displays such as the CRT, LCD's- technologies that have been under development and refined for many decades.

Question: How noisy is the Heliodisplay?

Answer: The heliodisplay M3 main module during operation is about loud as the fans on a desktop computer (aprox. 38dB).

Question: Does the Heliodisplay require any special format video or computer files?
Answer: Like a computer monitor or television, the Heliodisplay can display any video signal coming from most sources. Of course, some images look better than others. We recommend large, brightly colored, well-defined images.

Question: Will the heliodisplay project a visible image in a brightly lit room?

Answer: Yes, but like every display, the image will appear brighter in a less well lit room. The heliodisplay was designed to work in typical indoor office lighting. In brighter environments the image may appear dimmer, but introducing a dark background can be employed to compensate for lighting.

Question: Will the heliodisplay work in my country?

Answer: Yes, The new Heliodisplay M2 works for regions either in 110V/60Hz, or 220V/50Hz.

Question: Will the heliodisplay affect the room in which it is operating in?

Answer: No, the heliodisplay with the self-sustaining module converts the air and does not introduce anything new into the air that does not already exist in the air. With the self-sustaining-module (SM), the Heliodisplay will only require a wall outlet, and into a video source. Note the operating environment (temperature and humidity).
