The M3-series is the second-generation mid-air projector with a larger 30-inch diagonal (76cm) display area (4:3 aspect). The new M2 has been redesigned enabling higher image quality, brighter and overall performance. A high resolution, "HR" upgrade is available as an option which boosts the projection source brightness from 1600 to 2200 lumens and increases the native resolution to SXGA (1024x768 pixels) and maximum resolution of 1280x1024 pixels.

The bottom frame of the image hover a few inches from the Heliodisplay and project up to 28" (71cm) into the air at the highest point. The slightly larger than a desktop computer tower M2 projects visible images under normal office lighting conditions. Just like any display, controlled lighting will offer the best image contrast. Heliodisplays work under lit environments such as on the tradeshow floors, as well as under low lit environments such as museums or nightclubs. The Heliodisplay is designed to be hidden, and out of sight so that only the images are viewable. The Heliodisplay connects using a standard TV, DVD or computer cable and projects the same images that would be viewed on a computer or conventional display. No video conversion, special hardware or software is needed to view images.
The interactive M2i allows desktop navigation in a PC environment such that floating images or video can be manipulated supporting a 'virtual' touchscreen enabling cursor control. The M2i comes with the Heliocast (tm) software and drivers for a standard PC.
